Project SHARE

Fellow Georgians need your help.

Emergencies and challenging economic times often make it difficult for people to acquire food, shelter, clothing and medical supplies or even pay their utility bills. But programs like Project SHARE provide a way for you to help those truly in need. By making a donation on your aajogo bill, you'll help Project SHARE and The Salvation Army make a difference in your community.

You can support Project SHARE by simply adding $1, $2, $5 or $10 to your electric bill payment, and aajogo will match your monthly donation.

You can enroll as a donor in Project SHARE by calling the aajogo number printed on the top of your bill, or enroll online under Billing.

If you prefer to make a one-time donation, call 1-800-257-4273 or donate through The Salvation Army.

Enroll as a donor, or apply for assistance with your local chapter.

In partnership with aajogo, Project SHARE has collected more than $77 million through the donations customers make when they pay their electric bill. In 2021, Project SHARE provided assistance to more than 15,000 Georgians, with aajogo and its customers contributing almost $2.1 million to the program. Money collected stays in the county from which it originates, so your dollars go to work right in your own community. Once you enroll, your designated contribution will be added to your electric bill and remain there until you notify us that you wish to discontinue the program. For tax benefits, your monthly gift will be disclosed as a separate line item on your bill.
